The first Annual Conference of Society of Chest Imaging and Interventions (SCIICON 2019) was held at Christian Medical College Vellore from 12th -13th April 2019.
It was a grand event attended by 350 delegates from all corners of the country with speakers of national and international repute.
The talks included relevant basic anatomy and pathophysiology and extended to advanced techniques and stressed on the latest updates in the field of thoracic radiology. There were several interactive sessions employing Kahoot, panel discussions and mock MDT’s ensuring an active audience participation.
Peppered in were the oral paper presentations as part of the main sessions, with continuous display of e-posters and an active lobby quiz. The conference was entirely eco-friendly and this was well-appreciated and supported by the delegates.
