The esteemed annual conference of the Society of Chest Imaging and Intervention, SCIICON, convened in Bengaluru from the 30th of August to the 1st of September, 2024. The conference commenced on an impressive note, featuring a diverse array of workshops focused on interventions, artificial intelligence, and interstitial lung disease, fostering an environment of rich learning and collaboration. The central theme of this year’s conference revolved around Artificial Intelligence, highlighted by a dedicated hands-on workshop and a series of insightful lectures delivered by distinguished experts in the field. The main conference featured a comprehensive range of sessions addressing chest neoplasms, interstitial lung diseases, pediatric thoracic imaging, infections, interventions and a special collaborative session with the Indian Association of Cardiac Imaging (IACI). A host of esteemed speakers, both nationally and internationally recognized, contributed to this educational extravaganza, captivating the audience and maintaining high levels of engagement and concentration throughout the event. Another noteworthy highlight of the event was the semifinals and finals of the Grand National Quiz, which garnered remarkable enthusiasm from both residents and junior radiologists, showcasing their keen interest and competitive spirit. The conference also featured an engaging musical night, complete with games and dancing, which contributed to making the event a truly holistic experience, blending professional enrichment with social interaction.

Total Registrations: 440
Grand National Quiz- The first of its kind national level quiz which saw 75 teams participating in the first round. This was a closely fought competition and teams from AIIMS Delhi and Apollo Chennai came triumphant.
